The largest lay organization in the Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus is a Catholic Fraternal Organization that supports the church, community, itself, and others. The Cambridge council, founded in the early 1990s, has given almost $60,000 in financial support to organizations like Hugs for Heroes, Loaves & Fishes Food Pantry, hurricane disaster relief, the Senior Center, Little League, Fire Department, and Rescue Squad. The club meets the second and fourth Tuesday of the month at 7 p.m. at the St. Patrick’s Church rectory. Men 18 years old or older who are practicing Catholics are welcome to join.
